Even with proper insurance coverage, copay premiums and chemo-therapy
expenses not covered under existing policies, can be costly, stressful, and
confusing . At Crafters For Chemo Copay Inc., we assist chemo-therapy
patients with their expenses by furnishing this web site where friends and
family members (Crafters), of chemo-therapy patients can list/sell crafts
with proceeds going to pay out of pocket therapy expenses. To fund our
cause, we sell custom designed scarves and "sherpa" caps to schools and
youth organizations to be resold for fundraising.
Proceeds from the sale of crafts are sent directly to our Copay Recipients'
oncologist or treatment facility to be used toward their copay and treatment
expenses that are not covered by insurance, (usually 20% or more of treatment costs). We strive to ease the financial burden/stress associated with therapy expenses.
